Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get my medications refilled?
The best and most efficient way to get your medications refilled in a timely manner is to check with the pharmacy 2 days prior to your medications running out. If you have any refills left, your pharmacy will be able to refill your prescription without having to call our office. If not, ask the pharmacy to send us an electronic request for a refill for the particular medication or medications.
What’s the best way to get in touch with Dr. Saliba during office hours?
During office hours the best way to communicate with Dr Saliba is to leave a message with his office staff. In case of a life threatening emergency, please call 911. In case of an urgent message, Dr Saliba can be reached through the website or by calling the emergency number and leaving a message. Dr Saliba will respond as soon as possible or within one business day.
What happens if I cannot make my appointment?
Patients have appointment times that have been set aside specifically for them. We do not “double book”. If you fail to show up without at least 24 hours notice, we are not able to offer that slot to another patient who may be in dire needfor it. If an individual does not show up to their appointment, i.e they do not give 24 hours advance notice, a charge equivalent to the full rate may be assessed. Individuals who fail to show up to their first appointment may not be rescheduled. Therefore, if for any reason you are unable to make your appointment, we appreciate a notification at least 24 hours ahead of the scheduled appointment.
Do you take insurance at this office?
Our goal is to provide personalized, excellent care that respects every patient and gives them the time needed to discuss their issues. For that reason we have elected not to contract with insurance companies at this office. This allows the patient doctor relationship to flourish without pressure or interference from the insurance company.
What if I have an emergency after hours?
If you have a life-threatening emergency, the best thing to do is call 911. In case of a non life threatening emergency or urgent situation you can call Dr. Saliba at his emergency number provided to you at your appointment. Please note that refill requests are not considered emergencies and will be subject to a fee if requested after hours on the emergency line.
